Adding fuel to the fire

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

When we were drawn against Bayer Leverkusen there were many who thought that we couldn't beat them, Leverkusen finished first in their group ahead of Roma and Real Madrid so there's no chance of Liverpool beating Leverkusen.

We won 3-1 in both legs.

Afterwards we got drawn against Juventus. As soon as that draw was made, almost everyone outside the club placed their bets on Juventus. Suprisingly we won the first leg 2-1, which many predicted we would lose. Stil they said that Juventus would progress as Juventus are "1-0" kings. We played without Gerrard and held one of the best side's in Europe to a scoreless draw.

Through out the competition we've recieved a lot of criticism and even from some of our ex-players.(you know who they are) It seemed that the more we were put down the more determined we seemed in every game we played.

So we knocked out Juventus and had to play against Chelsea and still were put down by everyone in the media. In the first leg neither side scored, but most newspapers still gave Chelsea the advantage. "They can win, they're better. Anfield won't matter"

They were in a surprise, the 12th man, that being our fans, bitch slapped all the critics and making Sh!tford Bridge look like a library.

Through out the competition we were pretty much put down by everyone. We've won the damn thing, and you have clueless morons stating that without Gerrard we would be a top ten side. I'd like to know how is that a top ten side manages to win more games without Gerrard in the squad than they do with Gerrard in the starting 11.

Where were those feckers who keep labeling us as a one man team when we won games without Gerrard.

For instance in the second leg against Juventus we had Alonso and Biscan in the center of the park. Note: there was no Gerrard Now you would think according to these critics that we would lose and whatnot but no we held Juventus to a scoreless draw. We didn't win but we kept them quiet with a player who has been called "Biscan't"

What about the game against Deportivo La Caruna in the group stages? Who led the way in center of the park? "The Biscanator", it wasn't Gerrard. In the first leg against Bayer Leverkusen we had Hamann and Biscan, and who led the way? I'll let you lot answer that on your own.

Therefore we've shown that we can get the job done without one of the best midfielders that has walked on the pitch of Anfield but it seems that we need to keep proving the w@nkers out there wrong.

Bring the critics, because all it will do is add fuel to the Liverpool fire that has sparked. I'd like to see the faces of those who've slagged us off at the end of the season.

I can't wait for the group stages of the CL to begin. Everyone will be gunning for us and it's going to great seeing teams and media slagging us only to go limping home after liverpool wins again.

I loved it when we won the champions league, not just becuase we won it, but because all the Newspaper headlines the morning after.

And all my friends that support Manure, they were yappy wee bug'gers that day.

It was good to see the critics putting their hands up and saying they got it wrong.

Found them shameless when we won, all those same media critics were then ranting "they won it for england"

filthy c.unts, feeding off our glory when the time is right.

This is what :censored: me off. Most of the country, media, londoners kept saying we were :censored:, one man team, couldn't get far. Then as soon as we are in the final it is "do England proud", only because Chelsea weren't in it anymore..

Not all Londoners were saying we were a one man team, just anyone that didnt support Liverpool was saying that, and it was sweet hearing all the Liverpool haters (who were trying to put us down at every hurdle we faced) struggle to find words to congratulate us on our achievement and trying to join us in and "English achievement".
I say let all the pundits and media continue to belittle us as its going to make shutting them up again even sweeter than last season, i can only hope the players listen and read whats being said about them and be spurred on to victory!!!

C'MON YOU REDS!!!!!! :buttrock

Fack em all, lousy good-for-nothing wasters. Brain the size of marbles, and IQ's lower than Kate Moss' belt size.
