well, he takes damn long to score again and when he just get a few goals he will get injured...that makes him just a very good player. not world class. Anyway, his ball control doesnt seem good for past games and he's not improving much under Hou. Look at Herry, MO still got a lot more to learn!!

I dont mind him not scoring the goals but when he says he wants champions league place or hes off thats wat grates me!

If e were 2 be puttin his chances away i could understand him being frustrated, but wen it is more dan partly his fault dat we are were we are it gets annoying!

The worrying thing is Liverpool have been pretty average in the league even with Owen being a Liverpool playerfor the last five years under Houllier, even allowing for absences through injury. We have not got adequate reserve strikers and losing Owen would make matters worse.

The problem isn't just with Owen's injuries but the fact that in all the time he has been on Liverpool's books he has been injury prone and neither Roy Evans nor Gerard Houllier managed to arrange a suitable back up, a Liverpool Soljskaere if you will.

Iversen is cr@p and you insult Owen by comparing the two

Owen (quality) - 8 goals in 16 Premiership games (0.50 goals/game)
Iversen (*****) - 4 goals in 14 Premiership games (0.29 goals/game)

I think he scored 8 in 8 at the start of the season.

I can't believe anyone would compare Iversen with Owen, Iversen with Heskey might make a closer comparison :D
