Scandalous........something dodgy is going on, i think the powers that be are fearing that the sleeping giant really has awoken this time.....and we're back to dominate once more:)

F@ck it ,at the end of the day it could be a blessing in disguise ,next season will give us the chance to make a descent assault on the premiership.
And for the CL ,the winners of that competition next year will be marred by the fact that the previous champions were not in it to defend their title.
Plus it doesnt say much for the CL if you cant defend your title no matter where you finish in your domestic league.
It just states that finishing fourth is more important than winning the CL.
which makes it look a f@cking joke really.

First we should blame ourself for not finishing 4th. All 3 teams seems hell bend on throwing points away and we did a good job of it by losing to feckup teams that we should beat. If as dim's post showed, the FA have made another U turn and there isn't anyone there with any clear stance on this issue. Of course as champion we should be allowed to defend our title (just as the World Cup and/or European Champion automatically qualify to defend their title in the next tournament)...this is pretty universal for all professional sports.

However, there's one more thing for us to do before we start all the protesting...win the cup for keeps in 3 weeks time!!!

If Everton don't make it past the qualifying round...Fa Will Be Kicking Them Else...Liverpool And Everton In Uefa Cup...LOL...No One Get Fourth...Uefa Will Also Be Kind Of Stupid...No Defending Champion In CL...There Did Not Get Kik Out...But Nv Qualify...That A Stupid Rule...Nvm If We Nv Get Fourth This Year...Next Year Get The Uefa Cup...No English Side Win The CL...The FA Will Look Very Stupid...

look at this FROM THE FA WEBSITE FOR LAST YEAR...

The FA CLAIM THERE IS NO PRECEDENT FOR THIS UNIQUE SITUATION.... yet last year, on there own website they say that should a team finish outside the top four AND win the champions league then they qualify and the fourth place go in the eufa cup...
