Three of Liverpool's Barclays Premier League matches have been rearranged due to live television coverage.

The home meeting with Newcastle United will now take place on Sunday, May 3, at 1.30pm BST and will be shown live on Setanta Sports.

The trip to West Ham United remains on Saturday, May 9, but kick-off has been put back to 5.30pm, and will again be shown live on Setanta.

The fixture with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns will take place on Sunday, May 17 (1.30pm). This match will be shown live on Sky Sports.

You know what ? This really really really irritates me when this happens....For peeps like meself who book flights and accommodation to get to a game, it's money down the drain when the game moves by one day, and there's no comeback from tha airlines when you get a low fare.....I've thrown money down the drain 'cos I had booked flights for the game vs. Newcastle at home, but now it's a Sunday game, I can't do it, or else I'll have to book flights (now ridiculously overpriced) goung out and back the same day.
Can't afford to throw money away on a tight budget...

Yeah but why whats to stop them ? cos match of the day won't get any one watching it ?

Its stupid rule that needs to be looked it we have 900 channels of TV now its not like they don't have room to show them any more is it.

its to protect the clubs and ensure fans keep going to the matches , so they decided long time ago to never televise on english telly any 3pm kick offs - i am in total agreement with it as well .
