Im not doing this poll to cause another thread for bitching, just to simply see where people stand.I for one am totally undecided.

If we had 25m as the owners(which they obviously haven't) what would you do with it? buy more players in the hope it gets us into fourth and back the manager with one last time to get things right.

Or not waste a penny more on what could be dodgy buys when at the end of the season you may have to sack the manager.

Very tempting to put the get rid of Rafa option because im loosing faith in him..

But I think 25 Mill is way too much money to loose just to get rid of some staff.

Although I think Aquilani will come good, Rafa could have spent the money he had on a better/less risk player that would of had immediate impact. Which is why i am loosing faith in his player judgement.

Rafa deserved nothing, if he won the EPL, maybe he can get a bonus of less than 1 mil, but on the other hand, if he wreck the club he can gets a 20 mil payoff.

The yanks are ignorant but they are not that stupid, there are clauses in his contract and i believed if the club cant get a top 4, this will warrant his sacking without payoff, but we shouldnt wait for that stage. Leeds come into my mind. If he loves the club and the fans, he should go now.

There is certainly a case to be made for the club spending £20m rather than Rafa being given it, could be a waste either way. Rafa's hardly made best use of near £40m in the last two summers, but perhaps we are too far down the line of committment to the belief that Rafa is the 'solution' ie we gave him money, more money and more money on top of that, can you so suddenly u-turn when some managers set their stalls out on a fergie-premise ie they think they'll be there forever and when they should be signing players for the here and now, they're spending money on players for 2-3 seasons down the line.

Now Rafa is into damage control, fighting a hole in a sinking ship by trying to plug it with tenners. We're in a sheet state, we were progressing but just like that he's fecked it up bigtime and we've got a few big eggs in one basket instead of lots of small ones

As facts go, those are less than.

1) Hobbs may be good, but Premiership quality and better than what we have already?!?!?
2) Getting old, brought in Sissoko/Alonso/Mascherano so where was Hamann going to get a game?!?
4) Shame this "good finisher" didn't prove it, and what do you call Torres if not a "good finisher"?!?!?!?
5) He scored once every 13 games, hardly prolific and only a bit better than Agger's once every 15 games.

He's not THAt bad, but hes taken us as far as we can go, and as soon as we can get someone else, we will.

I read some of loke's posts yesterday and today has just re-affirmed my belief that he's a complete tw.at. That's not cos I disagree with his view, it's cos of the stupid things he says like "Rafa is a cancer", "aquaman can't control a football" "Rafas men will make us mid table for many many years" etc.

torres says we need players. maxi asked torres & masch what they thought before he joined. my only worry is sometimes stevie looks so frustrated, almost like he's give up. hopefully his injury break will give him time to think, get over the other injury he's carryin an come roarin back.

If I were the yank tw@t$ I'd give Rafa the money to spend but tell him, these are our last beans, the signins have GOT to work and insist that Rafa, Sammy & Kenny agree together on what we need & who we get.
