25.05.2005 a day none of us will ever forget.  i doubt any of us will ever witness anything quite like it again, infact when you look back the whole campaign that season was something very special.

whatever Happened in Athens it would never have reached the heights we reached that night in the Ataturk, god im getting goosebumps just writing this.

Happy 2nd istanbul day

I think it's safe to say that we were missing one vital ingredient in Athens.

Something essential that we had in Istanbul.

Yes, you know what I mean.

imo, liverpool played better in athens then in istanbul... however this time they had no luck, which proved to be the decisive factor in both games.

Anyways, happy Istanbul day, believe me, I remember it more than you do :(

In the end... best out of three? ;)

Definately.

We'll both have to sit out the next one, since Arsenal and Barca will go for their sequel.

But in Rome 2009.

AC Milan vs Liverpool FC Part III: The Search For Spock.

I personally believe we'll be in the final next season. Though who we play is another matter. I'm confident of this.

Moscow would be a tw.at of a place to get to though.

And only 50,000 seats, pull the other one!

It may be a new UEFA policy.

To hold the Champions League final from now on in a city that has absolutely no chance of any of its teams getting to the final.

2005 Istanbul? Yeah right, I'm sure Galabrandporkpiesaray were going to get to the final.

2006 Paris? Yep, Paris Saint Germain will get to the European Cup final, once they appoint Napoleon Bonaparte as their manager.

2007 Athens? Hey, AEK almost made it this year!!!!

2008 Moscow? CSKA Icecube in the final? It could happen!!!

2009 Rome? Sure, Roma can reach the final, once they overturn the 10-nil first leg defeat.
