According to Manhattan's sources inside FIFA, the contour lines were added because Sepp Blatter wanted to emphasis the "sensual" nature of the game. Particularly how football shirts and shorts cling to the body of a player when it rains.

Love to see some pics mate. Could you tell us al if the badge crest is embroided/stitched or one of those sticker type badges like what was on last years Euro shirt.

If you look at the picture of the kit that Yip posted a page or two ago, you'll see a close up of the badge on the home shirt. It's not a sticker on the home shirt.

if you look at the sketch of the champions league kit, then u will see those awful contour lines, however if u see the official design, there are no contour lines, which may suggest they have decided to get rid of them :D

I have to say I will be disappointed if they use stickon badges - My euro shirt from last season was falling to bits after a couple of washes, along with everyone else I knew.

Hard to tell from the photos, but hopefully they have gone to embroidered again

Not keen on that green and white european away kit.

The colour looks a bit wonky.

never been keen on green LFC away strips!

To be honest I like it (and the yellow one). The green on that shirt is the same shade of green in the early Fowler days. A bit a vintage type remade kit really.  :D

Looking at the pics from the wrexham game the green bit doesn't look too bad; it does actually look green and not blue like some people have said. There was a mention on RAWK by somebody that said that according to staff in the club shop this 3rd strip is only going to cost around £20 as it'll probably only get used a handful of times over the coming season. It's only hearsay (fook me that word brings back some cack memories :D ) so i don't know how reliable it is but it would help to sell it seeing as how the normal away shirts aren't used that much during the season never mind a 3rd shirt.

How much do people reckon it will be for a home shirt?

Last season it was £40 + £10 for a name on the back at some places.

Home much do the offical store charge for a new shirt usually?
