I think you need to stop reading headlines and actually look at the quotes of what they actually say. Where did he claim that lpool had already signed him ???

???

Don't know what you're getting at here mate.  He's 16, he can be forgiven for announcing prematurely that he would be joining Liverpool, probably the biggest day of his life so far

How do you know he's a bad signing?  Maybe you watch a lot of Spanish youth team football

I must have missed something here

I don't know anything at all about these 2 youngsters, I just read about it in a daily newspaper which is in wide circulation in my parts of the word.

I just hope they don't cost something like a combined 6 million or so (as reported somewhere and were signed by the previous regime), which is very steep for 2 youngsters from the French league.

Cesac Fabregas cost Wenger only 2 million from Barca and what a player he has turned out to be!

Good one liner there, A.B., ...maybe considered a bit 'below the belt' by Houllier-ites still out there... I couldn't have put it better myself!

Rafa has already publicly discussed signing an extention to his contract when the current one runs out. How fantastic is that to hear!! Lets just all hope he can resist the lure of a lurking Real Madrid who I'm sure will be following his every success. I know opinions often aren't worth much but I for one have a really good feeling Rafa's here for the long haul.

I think it is a bit damning to our academy when we are shopping abroad for young players. It is another hurdle for our own local talent to overcome before reaching the first team.

If our youngsters are good enough for our beloved team, then they will play regardless of how many foreign youngsters we have!! Survival of the fittest, at the end of the day the best players (Scouse or Spanish) will be picked for the team!!!
