So many young lives lost, look at the ages 14, 15, 38, etc  I am very upset, we tend to put it out of our minds, but with Heysel and now Hillsbrough annivesarys everything comes flooding back.
Such a tradgedy, 16 years ago today me family where setting out about now, on there way to that game, I didnt hear that they where alive and safe till 11 o'clock that night when they walked in the door.
It so could have been worse i could have lost my mum and my uncle had they not been lifted to safety.
Thank you to those who saved my familys life, thankyou who ever you are.

Yes my mum her fella and 2 of my uncles, but her fella was in a different area of the ground my mum was with my two uncles and they got separated in the rush, ending up where they shouldnt have been, the police just squeezing them all into the tunnels.
My mum got lifted to safety but she had lost my uncles, netheless to say after what they witnessed that day, they all gave up there season tickets and never went to an away game again. This season is the only time my mum has been to a game since then with me.

I hate reading that list, just looking at the ages of loads of those people who were just kids. Horrible.

Gone but not forgotten

Lynds,

I read your post as 'unhappy red' in another thread, brought a tear to my eye, once again a post written from the heart you always seem to wear on your sleeve.

RIP 96
