I can't strees how good this is.  My mate told me about this website yesterday.

It's pretty much a 'smart' radio station.  Based on a simple recommendation you supply the database, it then chooses other songs you might like and plays similar types, so depending on what mood you're in, you can just sit off and let it do it's thing.

My iTunes has been jibbed for the time being.  I've heard loads of new songs by bands I didn't even know existed tonight and they're all belters.

HOW FUCKING GOOD IS THIS MIKZ?

I'm listening to The Killers quite a bit too much at the minute and I typed in "All These Things That I've Done" as the search parameter cause that's my favourite by them at the minute (Read My Mind is another belter...) and it's throwing out all kinds of songs that have the following:

"It features electric rock instrumentation, a subtle use of vocal harmony, a vocal-centric aesthetic, major key tonality and many other similarities..."

I'm gonna try and get a station that plays mellow stuff similar to Coldplay "Green Eyes".

Al, this is a class site mate, I only found out about it yesterday but I went out last night so didn't get a chance to have a nose at it.  I've pretty much been listening to quality stuff I've never heard before for the last few hours tonight!!!

Hail the geeks who made it brother ! here here! This , to me is the dogs balls!
I had this about a year ago, and i remember linking it to everyone on my messenger and couldnt understand why nobody was raving about it , I can only assume they didnt bother trying it.

Just got Pearl Jam on at the minute, a band I've never listened to EVER.  My mates got their box set and I won't even give them a chance.  This websites the best I've discovered in a while.  It's making me listen to music I normally wouldn't give a chance to.

The little music box thing won't load for me anymore. It's telling me I have to register, but you have to be a US citizen to register.

anyone know what's going on or how to get rid of this little thing so I can use it again?

Just put a US Zip code.  They're only licensed to play songs for American audiences.

I just copied and pasted one I found on Wikipedia.  They don't know where you live mate, just blag it.
