DefinatelyAlonso. We miss his array of passes and silkiness. Gerrard is more grit in which we would hope to be expected by all players.

I think most people have agreed that we have missed Alonso.  Does that mean if we (and I hope we don't) lose Gerrard at the end of the season, the forcast of doom and gloom by a number of people may not actually appear.

I think if we bought a player in the mould of a young Didi Hamman, playing next to Alonso, we may not miss Stevie as much as everyone says.

There is no doupt that SG is a fantastic player but no player is as big as the team and there are after all, "different ways to skin a cat".

We haven't seen them play together to often, so we don't really know whether this super partnership will work as we would all like it too.  Lets hope we can keep our best players at the club and carry on moving in the right direction.. up the table and competing with curretn big 3.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

agreed ola, but i'm a little concerned when you say compete with the big three, arnet we part of the big three, our history suggests we are, or do we include blackburn, coz they won the title recently??.

i'm sure you will agree that as an LFC fan, we are the BIG 1
