Don't expect any of you kunts to get this,( it's fking opera) and to be honest I still don't understand why it gets to me BUT the truth is whenever I hear this I start welling up.

Without understanding Italian the sheer melancholy of this aria  touches a part of me that surely must resonate amongst us all ? .

Rhythm is a dancer. I was at a Haven Holiday camp, really fancied this lass, we danced to this classic.

(OK I don;t cry, but thats the closest, maybe bright eyes?)

Father and Son,

and,

My Way.

I dont cry at these songs, I just understand what my father went through, and the decisions he had to make. It fills me with pride whenever I think of him, as he had to make so many sacrifices.

I remember the morning after Istanbul. I was driving to work and listening to talkSport and they had put this piece together which was snippets of commentary from the game (mainly the goals plus a few other bits) and it was over-laid onto YNWA. As the commentary clips progressed, YNWA got steadily louder and louder until you heard 'And Liverpool are Champions of Europe Again!' and in the background was YNWA at full volume - the timing of the piece was spot on.

I had to pull over to the side of the road. I was shaking and my eyes were full of tears. One of the most amazing things I have heard.

in all seriousness though - this is the first one that springs to mind. god knows why, it doesn't have any emotional attachment to anything for me, just a beautiful piece of music
