as far back as I can remember. I grew up next door to an englishman in 1970's NZ, who worshipped the REDs. Being in NZ meant that you had to get up at 2 o'clock in the morning to watch the boys.
My neighbour would invite us round to watch, and I never looked back. We would laugh, drink and generally have a great time.... my greatest memories.
God bless the mighty REDs. YNWA :grinning:

My mum started bringin me to the match when I was about 6, used to go in the paddock and I hated it all men peeing and swearing :D .
My mum has followed them everywhere all her life so our household was pretty much liverpool orientated, good old days doing the windows up with liverpool posters ballons and stuff when they had won tropheys and were going to tour the streets of liverpool in the open top buses:love:
But nearly every street in liverpool was done up with either red or blue.
then when I was about 10 I started to like the going to the games
And all my family are evertonians apart from our house, down the years there have been some major fights between family members and I mean not speaking for years and stuff when Liverpool and everton got spoke about in ale :D

Watching 1977 FA Cup final as 10 year old on the telly in Australia and knew nothing about English Football. For some reason i use to always go for underdog, i would barrack for Indians in cowboy movies and the Germans in war movies because they were always losing.
Anyway Mancs scored first so i started going for Liverpool who were to me then the underdogs.....oh the irony considering the era.
Im just really glad now that Liverpool didnt score first  :)
Forever Red in this life and the next

I was born in 1971 and grew up with a mum, dad & big brother who are all Liverpool fanatics so as far back as I remember it was just the natural thing, so probably 30-odd years :)

my whole family are reds. my sister was born on 1st may 1965 while my dad was at wembley at the FA cup final, he came to the hospital back in liverpool that night p*ssed.

i was concieved during the 1966 world cup finals at Pythelli butlins (dont say im welsh you b*stards, i was only concieved there) and i was born obvioulsy in 1967. i went to my first game in 1973 when i was six and stood on the kop with my uncle, it was against newcastle and it was a fantastic experience. (i had been to one reserve game before that) and my uncle took me the pub after the game. so basically in answer to the question my first game was 1973 but i was supporting them before that.

does anyone miss the p*ss waterfall down the back steps on the kop    :D
