"War" by U2 in 1984.  Followed by every album since, and the 2 previous albums.

KLF, aka the Justified Ancients of MuMu :D

Has anyone got KLF's Chill Out album? Whilst their other stuff was very tongue-in-cheek and a bit of a laugh, Chill Out was a genuine work of art. It's not individual tracks, it's just 90 minutes of samples and cool, moody stuff. It was released in about 1990 I think and spawned the whole generation of chillout albums but none even come close to it

Absolutely brilliant, listen to it when you're knackered late on a weekend night with a beer/reefer and float away into dreamland....
