its been very very quite this past month on here, not a lot people posting and most of the regulars haven't been turning up

Been wondering the same thing actually.  I'm sure the lack of games isn't helping, but even in the summer time this place is busier than it is for the past couple of months.

It's reeeeally realllly sh.it here compared to RAWK, I imagine that's why people aren't coming here anymore. I only glance here once in a while now, nothing interesting to read that isn't better over there

I think Newkit is dead, to be honest. Probably happens to most forums sooner or later.

hard to say. It picks up on match day, but is quiet. I've been busy the last few months, so not been here as much.

Still prefer it to Rawk, whiich is up its own ar$e

Only 2 threads in the general liverpool forum have been posted in today, that's just awful. And the first page goes right back to feb 27th

This month is especially quiet because 1) we haven't got many games and 2) the EL doesn't interest most supporters.

This combined with a dreadful season creates the atmosphere we see today. Being a smaller forum we are always going to be vulnerable to this.

there's nothing to moan about so the place has become quieter. it happens. the expectations have been lowered so much that anything we achieve now is an added bonus. it obviously picked up after dalglish came in but his honeymoon period is over now and we're just waiting for confirmation that he's got the job long term.

just think, would you rather it was quieter but more harmonious or go back to how it was on here pre christmas when quite frankly this place was filled with idiots and WUM's who offered nothing apart from taking shots at each other and banging on about roy/rafa in every thread?

oh yeah and if you want it to pick up, somebody start an interesting football thread that doesn't merely have a players name and "official thread" in it.

Its not just there isn't any games, its also that this month has been very quite and some of regulars aren't showing up anymore, even during match days.

here is an idea,I know that some regulars did not really get along with the mods, can we just forget about it, remove the bans and start fresh? just a thought

The mods obsession with power has helped to kill the place too. All the banning that goes on here, the mods just argue with everyone and then ban them for nothing. A lot of the best posters over the years have been banned and the forum has lost a lot of its quality because of it

Though it's not just the mods, the members seem hell bent on arguing over nothing too

I don't get why the mods and members here are so obsessed with personal arguments. I've never seen anything like it, it's like you're all on a soap opera, or trying to create one anyway. It can be entertaining for a bit but just gets annoying.

I'm sure this place must be full of people who don't get enough attention in real life so have to create importance for themselves here

You don't get many of those sorts of stupid, pointless arguments on RAWK, people just discuss things normally

I haven't the time i used to have so I cant spend as much time as I like on here.

The place has been very quiet lately, because of that when people do log on they see that nothing is happening on here so they just go elsewhere on the net (youporn!). I think St Michael may have a point, we have all the Official threads and because of that the forum always looks the same, the same topics. I originally had the idea for all the Official threads, it works on bigger forums and in fairness it does reduce a lot of the clutter but maybe for a while we should go back to the old style. We can always go back if it turns into a mess.
