I'm trying to do this tutorial and I can't find a certain thing on my version 7.0

Is there a newer version of photoshop available?

I know there's the CS2 version but I'm not sure if that's something seperate.

Yes - CS2 is the latest.  I have CS(1) and don't have the filter/render option.

I do have the filter>render option - I just don't have the movie prime option in filter>render>lens flare

Download the demo of CS2 from Adobe - then you can try it for 30 days.  The unscrupulous amoungst us might then get a crack/keygen thingy - but that is just wrong, and damages the software industry!  :D

I use Photoshop 7.0 by the way, and sparingly at that.  I use Fireworks MX 2004 for the majority of my graphics.  Whatever you're more comfortable with I suppose.
