i hope the stronger contenders such as lost, the wire, deadwood, mad men and band of brothers will be seeded so as not to be drawn against each other in the earlier rounds.

You are all trying to compare too many programs from different genres. My fav drama to date is the Sopranos but the Wire comes close behind.
