I was thinking to myself before, if you could change your name to the name of a country what would you change it to ?
I would go for the republic of ireland me, i think that would be a marvellous name.
I have opted for countries close to home to me in the poll, but feel free to select others but if you do say why ?
Once you have selected a country it would be cool to say why you went for it.
I mean Brazil at first i thought seemed cool, then i thought of Alan Brazil and he is a pure biff.

Lets see how this one goes.

I used to go by Upper Volta for a while but it was a little too, "John Smith" you know?  So, I made the change to Burkina Faso and really haven't looked back.   So that's me sorted, but for those looking for a new name with a bit of mystique, a bit of elan, a bit of je ne sais quoi, I would strongly recommend Cote d'Ivoire.  You'll never leave the club alone with a handle like that.  :nod

I dont even know how to pronounce that, i'd get it all wrong and might not leave the club alone.....but it would more than likely be with a hefty one  :D

Clearly the best geo-political names are U.S. Cities: There was Dallas, from Phoenix; Cleveland - he was from Detroit; and Tex... well, I don't remember where Tex come from

If we have to pick foreign countries, could fancy a bird named Georgia Jordan.  I knew a girl in college named Georgia and she was smoking hot, and then I sort of knew a girl named Jordan and she was model hot, might have to even post some picks later, she was crazy hot.

Elocution lesson the first:

Cote: as in 'I'll get my...'

d'Ivoire: as in deev-waaar

Just flash the grin and introduce yourself thusly and there'll be no need to settle for a fatty.  :;):

Another sonorous name would be Myanmar, provided, of course, that the lovely bit of totty you're chatting up is ignorant of current affairs and international human rights abuses.  :lookaround
