Depends what you're doing I guess. They obviously aren't ever cheap though.
A few tips for costcutting:
Just invite immediate family and close friends to the whole thing. Others can come to the afters if they want.
Just have one bestman and maid of honour. No need for a bunch of groomsmen or bridesmaids.
Get the missus to try dress styles and then just buy it online for cheaper.
Is a cake really neccesary? I think you can buy one in Marks and Spencers for 50 quid.
Try get a DJ or something that you know and might do it for a resonable price.
