Elephant mountain up Snowdonia way is worth a look, if you like Elephants and sheep, of course.

I've been all over the world but apart from a few camping holidays to Caergwrle as a kid I know b'ugger all about Wales.

Is it worth a visit ? Was thinking of spending a week just driving around off the beaten track from place to place, good idea ?

If so where should I go ?

If you've been all over the UK did you not like anywhere or do you just want something different?

I like the wording by the way "Wales, Has anybody ever been there?" as if it is rare. (as opposed to Wales, who has been there?".............................)
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I was attempting to convey, apparently unsuccessfully, that I have travelled extensively throughout the world but have seen little of places right on my doorstep, Wales in particular.

The phrasing of my question was deliberate as for the past 40 years travel to far flung and ever more exotic holiday locations has steadily increased and financial considerations aside the chance that members in this forum would consider going to Wales for their holiday as opposed to for example South East Asia, Africa, North America or any of the mediterranean hotspots does indeed seem rare.
