also comedians these days aren't a patch on good old fashioned joke/story tellers you got 10-20 years ago. but that's just me being an ol git i supose!

their used to be loads real top comedians either stand up/or on telly etc now adys i'd struggle to name 5 real top comedians, for me PC has had alot to do with it it's gone too far,even top comedians of today are totally different live than on telly, even without the swearing-clean jokes aren't as funny imo.

that's what i mean about PC.  as i dont condone racist jokes & glad to see their is more comedians these days from all culture's & race. but in these so called times of doom & gloom we need to laugh at & with each other.

Any comedian who still uses "white people are so.....insert stereotype here" Richard Pryor was a genius, Eddie Murphy was a step below but very funny also and Chris Rock brought a political and moral element to it that worked. I remember seeing Richard Blackwood *remember him?) try and do a bit about 10 years ago and it f*cking bombed.

I have to say that when I watch Mock the Week I think Frankie Boyle is hilarous but his stand up show is garbage, its just 80mins of Question/Punchline and every joke is either sick or vulgar.

yes mate richard pryor, eddie murphy fecking brilliant especially their stand up routines. classic jokes/storys etc but both also brilliant in films aswell eg- stir crazy - trading places both just examples of both comic genius. their aren't many comics these days who can or could do both.
