Has anybody seen how the sopranoes ends. irish tv had about 3 episodes left when finished in USA and I quickly managed to get a copy of final episodes.

Terrible ending - really annoyed at it. It caused massive controversy in America. I don't want to say what happens incase anybody accidently stumbles on this thread but it was such an anti climax to 7 quality series.

Yer I saw this a couple of weeks back.  Not saying it done my head in or anything but it was indeed strange the way it ended.

Best bit was the bit with Phil Leotardo.  Those who've seen it will know what I mean.

It p'issed me of big time . One of the best ever tv drama's, to go out on such a whimper was a f'uckin' insult to those that have followed the show all these years. If they'd tacked on just another minute or two allowing you know who to get inside the you know where and then blew the whole lot up , that would have been a more fitting finale .

Don't know the full details but my brother looked it up on some website.  I'll have to ask him.

What it's about is that all the peripheral characters who were there or thereabouts at the end scene were all minor characters (e.g. extras...) who'd been in maybe ONE SCENE previously in the series, but the catch was they were all relatives of victims of the Soprano family, and basically, you're left with your own judgment to make up your own mind about what happens after you know what...

Put it this way, I hope Lost doesn't fucking finish like this...

it definately p*ssed me off, it ruined the legacy of the series. I won't be bothered watching repeats of it now. Hope none of the actors, producers etc ever get another job and get run over by a bus which is driving students to a class about "how to finish a TV series". Maybe in their last breaths they could think about the "irony"

Oh Big Niall you seem upset. They are just leaving it open for a movie that i am sure will happen. The ending was a bit crappy but it will all get found out during the movie. Just think how much money will be made from a film. Millions!
