Metallica are my all time greats, and for anyone who can appreciate this, I've met Het! I'm really into my Bloodhound Gang at the moment and their new album rocks, but I had to let it grow on me for a while. Anyone who can write a song made up purely of ralph Wiggum quotes has got to be damn talented. Wu Tang, Outsidaz, Helta Skelta, Busta and Canibus are my Hip Hop choices and the rest of my favorites would be Pantera, Slayer, Kiss, Reel Big Fish, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, NOFX, Everclear, The Ramones... actually, mt top bands change on a daily basis and due to my wide ranging musical tastes, I have a lot of music to choose from.

To be honest Rafa, I can't really tell any of those bands you mentioned apart. The only two that I can listen to from all that junk are Jet and OK GO.

I must say you have good taste (I NEVER thought I would say that, lol!!)

I agree I think Hard Fi r good, have you got their album?
Am thinking of getting it meself. I also liked the Smiths and some of Morrissey's solo stuff weren't bad, but he was better with the group.
I love the Eagles and Genesis (when Phil Collins was with them).
One of my fav groups is The Jam, think Paul Wellar's voice is ace. "Going Underground" is my best track --- it's
class! Also like The Cure. Esp. "Inbetween Days".

Think The Pretenders are wicked, love Chrissie Hinds voice and also think Debbie Harry was awesome with Blondie.

Quite like Embrace, though was a bit disappointed with their first album, think the lead singer's cute, 'though I've heard he has heart trouble.

Hate the Streets, don't know how they got where they are ('though I know there are obviously alot of people who like them). Not keen on the Beatles, I only like "Long and Winding Road", which Gareth Gates and Will Young did a cover of, (bought this) well I liked it anyway.
Don't mean to go on, but I love pop music!!!

I agree, his solo stuff lacked the energy of The Jam.
I like Paul wellar himself, though, and was pleased to see him get a lifetime achievement award at The Brits this year, but I suppose I felt sorry for the other two ex-members, esp. when he proceeded to sing A Town Called Malice.

When you say Donovan do u mean the sixties one? Or do u mean someone more up to date......... I loose track of all the new bands. I suppose it depends on what type you like listening to, you tend to follow that strain.

My WORST EVER single ( which TMF insist on playing on their theme weekends) is The Power of love, by Jennifer Rush
UGH!!!     :upside:

Yeah, Donovan is cool. Went to see him once in B'mouth, a few years ago (went on my own as my mate went to some disco ---
I mean get your priorities right!) :)

Actually I liked Kate's Wuthering Heights, it grew on me.

Another fav is Tears for Fears - Mad World, can't beat it.
I couldn't stand the cover version that went to no.1

Hip hop/R & B/Rap mainly. My all time favourite artist is 2pac, absolute legend.

However I also listen to a bit of dance, as well as bands like Nirvana, Crowded House, Prodigy and Oasis. Don't mind Latin music either.
