You all must watch the League of Gentlemen?

I have all the DVD's, all the books, all the audio cassettes, but I've never seen them live, which I am gutted about because I know people who have. I am a massive fan of them. Can watch it all day if I had the opportunity. Favourite episode is Beauty and the Beast Series 3 where Judy Levinson and Charlie run a massage parlour. If you haven't seen it.....I'm not spoiling it here, just watch it.

They have a film coming out in June.

Don't miss this one when it comes out people.

JMac , I'm only familiar with the movie that came out last year .
What have I missed ?
Obviously series 1,2 and 3 , were they on the telly (sky? ) if so what channel /

It's been going since about 1997, there's been a lot. It is an award winnig comedy programme on BBC2. Very popular, pays homage to a lot of weird horror films and the fictional town where it is set has some very, very weird and wonderful characters.

If you like Little Britain, you will LOVE The League of Gentlemen. I would describe Little Britain as League of Gentelmen-Lite. Similar type of programme except that LOG actually follows on the narrative story week by week and Little Britain is basically a sketch show with no story.

Check it out. There have been three series', a live version and a Christmas version.

Superb, it is.

There's something freaky about the League of Gentlemen, they're like Deliverance in rural England.

well, they're all pretty extraordinary in the league of gentlemen.

appropriate too seeing as how some have suggested this should be a local forum for local people.

Well I'm local.

I haven't got a nose like David O'Leary or Tubbs and Edward but I do come from Liverpool.

Im not into the league of gentlemen, i have watched it multiple times and i just think its sh*t....

....my opinion cos its never appealed to me!!

You just don't get it, that's why.

Loads of people have said that. You're not the only one, but it is far from sh!t. It's very witty and clever.

oh i get it, honestly i love my comedies im a big comedy fan and there arent many that i dont like (cept for the sh*t ones
