I got out all the old cassettes including Bruce Lee, The Blues Brothers, Xenon and Gauntlet. I've given it pride of place in the middle of all my other golden oldies including my Neo-Geo and my NES. Ah, the good ol' days...
:D

Wow, you had a Neo Geo, the games back in the day were like £120  :oh:

My rich uncle gave it to me and I had to stick with his games. But I found out recently that they are still making games for it so I might have to give those a try (as long as the prices are no longer extortionate). The Commodore was more fun though. If anyone wants a truly frustrating experience try playing Bruce Lee. Gotta be the hardest game ever.   :D

Legend Woof!

Robocod was a hugely satisfying game.

Skidmarks! Man, I loved that.

A mint condition Amiga 500 must surely be worth a few bob now?

JBG mentioned one before The Eye Of the Beholder, FFS   that game was so bloody hard years ago, I was nearly at the end and there was this lions head thing on a wall that I didnt have a clue, how to get any further you just kept going thru dungeons and mazes, then dropping down traps in the floor, what a hard game that was, took me months and months still never finished it though :(

Graphics wise, the new Unreal engine games - Gears of War on Xbox 360 and Unreal Tournament 2007 - are absolutely awesome.

Has anybody seen them on tv?

Here's another one of Gears of War, although Unreal Tournament 2007 (PC) is pretty much the same thing.

Anyone's playing GTA San Andreas? Graphics are absolute class but gameplay is somewhat harder then older versions of GTA.

I never bought it to be honest, I had Vice City but I got to saving Cortez in the Alley and after about 6 goes I stopped doing the missions and used to just run round getting the cops to chase me  :(

The best game of the year for ME is Forza Motorsport on the Xbox cos I liked GT on the PS2 but got bored of racing against the computer cos it wasn't enough competition whe Forza is amazing online, plus their is always loads of people  :bowdown
