I had a PS2 and a Gamecube but got bored of them, Cube was great but had limited games, I sold both of them and bought an Xbox, I subscribed to Live and it totally opened my eyes, I love online gaming and rarely play against the computer (mainly do offline time attacks).

For me MS and Nintendo will always be my favourites as they think about the comsumer

Playing against the computer just cant compare with whopping your mates. I haven’t tried online gaming but I cant imagine it being as good as sitting next to your mate and giving him a good beating at PRO EVO!

Exactly. That's why I'm a Nintendo man. They always make brilliant party games (Smash Bros., Mario Party, Mario Kart) and great 2 player stuff as well. Nothing like watching your mate's cocky smile vanish as you aim a massive spiky shell at him after he's gone past you.

Also, playing something like Command and Conquer: Generals against a mate is brilliant.

With wi-fi nowadays its very easy to have a network game if a mate brings over his laptop.

Generals is a great single player game but we are still years away from getting truly human like AI, so pvp is still the best.

Have you seen the new add-on? Two new armies. Looks very good indeed.

I didn't buy the last add on as it was too expensive, although it should have come down in price about now.

You've got to get it JBG, it makes the game so much better. Production is quicker and less complicated, everything flows more and the Imperial Guard are brilliant cannon fodder. Definatly worth it.

Yeah, but it was a crazy price for an add on, something like £30. Out of general principle I wasn't going to pay that for what is essentially a mission disk.

I'll fish around and maybe I might be able to pick it up for a tenner now.
