Bought Ghost Recon 3 on Friday, have to say it's up there with PGR3 for me, fantastic visuals and the gameplay is awesome, it deserves the reviews it got (9.2-9.5)  :bowdown

Just finished Battle for Middle Earth 2: good campaign. Very enjoyable, but very short (a bit like Ronnie Corbet).

They should certainly keep you buys, now I understand why you spent a lot of money on a graphics card  :bowdown

Theirs been so much hype about Oblivian but I'm not really a RPG fan.

I'm a big kid Paul, I've got far more games than time to play them, I just buy all the good new games that come out, most I haven't played more than 2 hours.

I'm going to get a Revolution when it comes out as well.

I'm not sure mate, I had NBA Street Vol 3 for my Xbox but it got sold with the console, I'm sure they do more for the 'next gen' console, I'm gonna get NBA 2k6 or NBA Live 06 for my 360 in the next week, I've got the  Live 06 demo and really like it even though gamspot only gave it 6.8 but 2k6 gets better reviews even though the graphics ain't as good as Live 06  ???

It's coming.......

It's almost here: the world's most anticipated computer entertainment system will be launched worldwide in early November.

At a press conference held in Japan earlier today, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI ) announced that PLAYSTATION 3 will launch simultaneously in Europe, Japan and America early this November, alongside a range of PS3 game titles.

"We are absolutely delighted that we will be able to bring PS3 to gamers in Europe before Christmas," commented David Reeves - President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). "This is an exciting first for Europe, and is a huge endorsement and vote of confidence in the strength of the European market and its importance globally."

And its almost certain now that the PS3 will not be any better technically than the 360, so the 360 has stolen a 9 to 12 month march on the PS3.

I think the PS3 will be an awesome machine but it's not how good the graphics are but how well the little things like interface, streaming music/video, online community (comparing games, gamer points, etc), etc will work will determin how good it is in my eyes and Microsoft have the upper hand on Sony since Xbox Live has been running for some time now and Sony are new to this sort of thing.
