Skyrim is the best game in years without a doubt, but the damn thing crashes at least once an hour on my playstation so i have to save reguarly with is a pain.

I had the same problem with this on PS3, so I changed to PC.

Daws, best weapon you can get is the mace of molag bal... I improved it too

I sneak anyways so doesnt matter, the Sanguine rose means you'll never lose.. might try the molag bal though, whats the best bow you have got? I just like my soul trapper

I've got a bow, forgot its name from one of those Ancient Nords bosses, Gaulder or something like that! fantastic, my archery level is only 45 but with that bow I'm dealing a damage of 33. It's good against mages because it sucks up magicka

all ive done with the upgrades is archery really, all i need is the bullseye onme i think. Also got about 10 shouts, slow time is my saviour

Try working on your smithing, I've got mine up to 74 skill, 6 more and I'll be looking bad @ss with a daedric armor

Here you go mate, spoke to our main man s@int about it he gave me these solutions and it worked, no mouse lag anymore 

Fixing the ini files will stop the mouse being "laggy" and change the field of view from being only suitable for a console to being right for a computer. The FOV when you get it is about 80..... I changed it to 90 which seems about right.
Easier to just copy the instructions I used rather than trying to explain. :-

How do I fix the crash to desktop?
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound
In the Playback tab, right click on Speakers (or whatever has a green tick next to it), then click Properties
In the advanced tab on this new window, select 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio Quality) in the drop down menu

How do I fix some sound issues, such as hearing static during NPC dialogue?

How do I fix the vsync ("laggy mouse") problem?

At the bottom of this section, add fdefaultfov=XX (where XX is the FOV value you want to change to)
Save, exit, and play

Mine doesn't crash. I just get a keyboard freeze, all the characters go about their business , walking , talking AND attacking me ! and I can do fk all about it . I'm reduced to saving my game almost every time I turn a corner or open a door.

FFS Woof, even I'm not a computer wiz, but its VERY easy! follow the instructions and you will be alright! It seriously takes off most of your lagy mouse problems and stuff like that.

to make you more confident, I didn't create a backup for any of the ini files, f*ck that didn't know how to do it! just played around

sneak and archery, thats the way forward. Don't go straight for the main quest.

thats for button pushing morons

sneak, archery from distance, x2 for sneak attack, never be seen.. thats the warriors way. Then, as they get close, switch to warhammer of flames

Got my mitts on a stash of Deadric Arrows and Bow , 24 damage points for every hit !

Sneak around and with one hit low level characters just collapse and those pesky skeletons just explode
