But to me FIFA > Pro Evo until Pro Evo gets a proper license for all the leagues and names

apparently the top 6 teams in the premiership will be liscensed.
but i'm not too sure. if this was the case i'm assuming it would be-
-arsenal
-man utd
-chelsea
-liverpool
-everton?
-newcastle?

Deffo Chelski, Ar$e n Scum - all new kits  - as for the rest, can't be sure - I posted a link to a vid on here not so long ago and it says the English teams, but I can only make a couple out as it's all in Japlish.

I don't mind TBH, I like messing with the editor and keeping people up to date and I change the kits n names meself anyway....takes a while but more than worth it...

Have to admit, that new Burnout looks ace...loved the last one, reckon that'll b the last I buy tho, then on comes PS3!! He he!! It's all good!!  :D  :D

6 teams plus the Duth and Spanish League.  Now compare that to FIFA's license for 18 leagues, 38 National teams and 11,000 players. And thats just the FIFA 05 game, FIFA06 will have even more.

The last fifa game I bought was the 2003 one and the last 2 years I have bought pro evo. It comes down in the end whether you want realism in kits, stadiums etc or better gameplay. I think I may have to buy both because I enjoy gameplay of pro evo but I enjoy realism from fifa.

but, the game play for FIFA is sooooo poor!! you can score from the half-line nearly all the time.
And imo i think that FIFA's graphics are to glitchy. the heads of the players are shiny as well i have noticed.
i don't care about the 18 leagues.
its not like your are going to play as EVERY team there are you?  ???

You can't score from the half-way line all the time, in fact you can't do it at all most of the time. I don't know where you got that from, maybe you could do it in old versions of FIFA but not in the last tree or four games.

its not like your are going to play as EVERY team there are you?

No I'm not going to play as every team but it gives people options. Not everybody likes the Premiership or La Liga.

fair enough, but you have got to admit at LEAST, the gameplay for Pro Evolution Soccer is much, much better than FIFA.
The last FIFA i actually enjoyed was FIFA 98/99, where you could play indoor football...CLASS!

As i've mentioned It comes down in the end whether you want realism in kits, stadiums etc or better gameplay.

The gameplay of PES is undoubtedly the best but the realism of fifa is undoubtedly the best.

The one thing that bothers me about FIFA is that unless you have a really good graphics card, the players in the game will look a bit glitchy as you mentioned before.

FIFA 03 had some really weird glitches and scoring from 40 yards out was a piece of cake.

FIFA 05 is much improved, though the gameplay is still not the best.  Career mode is fun and all the leagues really give you alot of options.

Like mentioned by someone before, FIFA improves every year and I'm looking forward to 06.

The only problem I had with FIFA03 was that numbers or names didn't appear on the back of the shirts[because of my graphics card] however I prefer no names on the back cause it doesn't cause blurryness.

It has always been the case that FIFA wins over the masses but Pro Evo has a smaller hardcore following. The last FIFA game I had was Road to World Cup 98 - I was hooked from ISS which went on to become Pro Evo.

For me it's the little things - like when a good ball get played, the onrushing player just misses out but turns to clap the pass - after scoring, the scorer points and runs to the player that made the pass, stuff like that.

Nothing to do with gameplay - but it's the little things that make it feel like it's more than a game, it's really trying to be real.

The licences dont really bother me - i've got my Master League set up so that I have 4 leagues - Prem, La Liga, Eriedivise and Seri A. I've even renamed the 2nd Div teams in my league so that the league stays all English. This all works fine for the WEFA Champs as well. It plays brilliantly and every goal feels earned.

Pro Evo all the way man, Pro Evo all the way.  :bowdown  :bowdown  :bowdown  :buttrock  :buttrock
