Yes you're right, he brought the example, but my post wasn't about who's right in the whole discussion. Even if I like the attitude of defending a player and I post so, I don't mean he's right.

I also think the member hasn't been here that long, and he deserved a bit of patience while he becomes a regular! (I don't think he's a wum) :P But that doesn't mean the footie criticism posters are doing in the latest posts about Kuyt is wrong. I'm only against abuse and insults.

1)Compare Kuyt with Berbatov :

a)As for "Berbatov haven't proved himself at a big club".... Spurs are a pretty big club. He was a huge player in germany too.

b)As for "Kuyt is compared to the most expensive player in the league" News flash....both kuyt and berbatov came to their respective clubs with similar price tags. Berbatov value increased 3 fold. On the other hand, i don't think we will even be close to recovering what we paid for kuyt...

Gosh..... Rooney is one of the best support strikers in the world. You can see how he destroyed croatia when he played there. Kuyt is a sub-par striker....who is also a sub-par right forward...right wing.


Kuyt works hard....runs a lot...makes life difficult to defenders by pressing them...yeah he does these stuff well. If you want your team to have these type of players in the team, then fine. Don't be suprised when the best we finish is 4th every season then....

I wouldn't say Hippy.  But I did read the thread, and your post, and you aimed your post at the "Happy Clappys".  So your right, not EVERYONE, but ALL the "Happy Clappys"

I'm not happy with one point, but according to the forum I'm a happy clappy for saying oh it could be worse, nothing we can do about it now, lets look forward to next game.
