the towel should have thrown in a few rounds before, Ruiz was done from the first IMO

Thought Haye was class last night and so was that young lad Groves. Looks very good him and definately looks better than De Gayle to me.

Haye was so fast and Ruiz took alot of punishment, his corner probably should have pulled him out earlier i think.
But i am glad they didnt, great to watch.
The Klitschko's would be a different proposition altogether, but they will not be able to avoid him if he keeps putting on shows like that.

Does anyone know where you can watch Hopkins Jones that fought last night ?

I first saw Haye as an amateur (Carl Froch was in the same tournament) and thought he was class.

I really like the guy, I always liked the mobile fighters. The Klitchkos (spelling?) are very stiff and immoblie. I'd give him the edge. I hope Haye beats them both and becomes undisputed champ.

Any other decent heavyweights?

He is sh!te, very negative boxer that still boxes like an amateur.
He is fortunate that the british heavyweight scene is so poor as to why he is even still boxing.
I would think the pole sosnowski (is it) would beat him.
He was out boxed by sprott but pulled a big shot out right at the end.
He will get battered by anyone half decent.

And the talks of being mismanaged - hasnt he managed himself for years ?

:nod

Never has a fighter with such a total lack of ability or heart blagged his way into a fight for the most prestigious title in boxing. Every time I see this splattered all over SSN it fills me with rage. I dont believe for a second that these two hate each other the way its been potrayed and that this money spinner his been planned well in advance between both sides and Sky knowing full well that an all-British Heavyweight World Title fight will sell big - regardless of the participants.

Pacquaio is taking on a big fight tonight and personally I think people are writing off Margarito far too nonchalantly . The guy is a three time World Champ and regardless of the controversy around the loaded gloves I still think he'll give Manny a tougher test than his last few opponents have as he'll come at him and apply controlled pressure rather than just trying to land big hail mary shots like Hatton did or try to survive to the final bell without offering anything ala Clottey

i'm totally pumped for pac man's fight. only 9 or 10 hours away!

i would agree with the poster above. margarito shouldnt be written off. if anything, he has about the same build and reach as de la hoya. but he's faster and in better fighting shape. its going to be real fun trying to observe the tactical aspect of each fighter's game when the bell starts.

i do not expect pacquiao to beat margarito into submission like he did with clottey. and neither do i really expect margarito to try and match pacquiao's energy in a slugging war.

so its all up in the air really. :D  but i'm 100% behind pacquiao.
