He has all the tools to become a great fighter, he needs to protect his chin as you cannot learn to take a punch. If I was him I'd head to the states full time to train with the best.

I wouldn't.

Hatton would get knocked out again. He should retire.

Oh i dont know about that Mike, i think Khan is great an ive championed him all the way , but he needs to get more power behind his punches , imo, he needs to start knocking the big guns out, put them on the canvas, an until he starts to do that , well i just hope that with Freddie Roach in hiscorner now ,that will come, you could see the difference on Sat night , different fighter , different tactics , everythibg was different from the way he used to fight, I really think Khan an Hatton would be a good fight, This is a new wieght for Khan an Ricky is still one of the best around at this wieght,

So Haye is now fighting this Valuev fella. What a waste of space that guy is. He should have lost to Holyfield ffs.

Khan would destroy him. If there was anything to be taken from the Paqquiao fight it is that Hatton cannot cope with speed. Well Khan is fast and Ricky would not get near him imo. He would have to rely on just landing the odd power punch and hope he can bully him with that.

Retire with your head held high Ricky.

I agree Bav i hope he does retire , but as ive said i dont think it would be the walk over that everyone thinks it would, Ricky can hit we all know that and has Khan got the chin to take one of them hits, A lot younger yes, faster yes , but Rickys a brawler ,an a big hitter , As i said before Khan needs to get some weight in behind his punches, an being with Roache i hope that  will come,

He will do well under Roach. He just needs to keep his head down and not let all the sucess get to his head.

Anyway so Haye vs Valuev eh? That should be a great fight. Haye will win I think.

one of the great ironies in life:

if your a skinny, short fella, and you want a job in sports you pretty much have two options:

Control a 1000+ pound animal over a mile long track

OR

beat people up with your hands
