The last round of the Froch fig was amazing the other day, excellent knockout but how Taylor alowed himself to be beaten is beyond me, he had the fight sewn up and should have seen it out comfortably but got tired and faded badly in the end, i think that could be him finished at the top level but we shall see. As for Froch he's got a great chin and a powerful punch, but dosnt have the class to be a great top level champion, i mean taylor had him comfortably beat but didnt see it out, but someone like Calzhage, Hopkins, Kessler or Pavlik would beat him comfortably i think.

fight changed when taylor was taken out of his comfort zone. Same as what happened when he fought Pavlik. Hes a great fighter when things are going his way; 2 wins over Hopkins are testament to that but the wheels come off when hes put under pressure. But  like you said Fowler, he should still NEVER have lost that fight. He could have run round in a circle for 3 minutes and got the decision

I cant wait for this Hatton v the Pac man fight an i really dont know which way to call it. Two great great trainers an all in both there corners Freddie Roach an Floyd Mayweather snr.

The fight though is gonna be great, both of them great body punchers, an both of them hearts of lions, Who ever gets the most body shot in will win the fight imo.

Either gonna be a Hatton knock out or Paquiao on points i think.

Cant see beyond a Hatton ko with a bodyshot being the killer blow.

I know pacman is dangerous and is not to be overlooked but he has moved up a few weights and Hatton is strong at the weight.

The De La Hoya win seems to have elevated Paquiao to unbeatable status in most people's eyes, i am happy with that as Hatton appears to love being see underdog.

The Mayweather fight is totally different to this one, Ricky was the smaller man as well as slower, he only determination really and that gets you so far.

I think Ricky will draw paquiao into a fight and will stop him with one of his crunching body shots.

Cant wait either !!

Hattons just too big, and unlike the golden boy, not a shot fighter. I cant see Hatton just standing there and getting pounded on the way De La Hoya did. Saying that Freddie Roach is the best trainer out there at the moment and if anyone can give Pacquiao a game plan its him

St mike i will choose to ignore your post above - as it makes me look like a right divvy  :D

Anyway, some bad news for me anyway.

HAYE AND KLITSCHKO OFF (from the beeb)

David Haye's world heavyweight title fight against Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on 20 June has been called off.

The decision to postpone the IBF, WBO and IBO title contest was taken after Londoner Haye, 28, suffered an injury in training at his base in Cyprus.

The pair were due to meet in front of a 60,000 sell-out crowd at Schalke O4 FC's Veltins Arena.

Haye was hoping to become Britain's first heavyweight world champion since Lennox Lewis retired in 2003.

A short postponement may allow the fight to be re-scheduled but Klitschko's camp appears keen to fight on the allotted date.

606: DEBATE
Either Klitschko would be far too savvy and solid for someone in only their third heavyweight fight

Leather_Face
"I'm speechless. We will have to get someone else in. I will take who ever it is," said Klitschko.

The Ukrainian's manager, Bernd Bonte, added: "They haven't given any detail on the injury but say Haye can't train. We will get someone else but I can't say yet who it will be.

"Ninety five percent of the fans who bought tickets did so because of Klitschko."

A possible alternative opponent for Klitschko could be WBA champion Nicolai Valuev, the 7ft Russian whose fight against Ruslan Chagaev on Saturday was cancelled when Chagaev failed a medical.

The build-up to the Haye-Klitschko bout had been mired in controversy over Haye's controversial behaviour when promoting the fight.

He attended media events wearing a T-shirt depicting him proudly holding aloft the decapitated heads of Wladimir and his elder brother Vitali.

Renaming Klitschko as "Bitchko", he also derided him as an embarrassment to boxing and rubbished his record.

Thats annoying for me i was intrigued by this.
