you have got to think thats it for him, how many boxers have ever gone on to be world champ after being knocked out in 51 secs.

Sky must be going mad, they just done a huge deal with him to show his fights on box office,

he just been put down to the rank of a club fighter, there will be no big names from him for a good 5 fights now.

I cant believe he was on box office, i wouldnt of paid to watch him no way.
Watched it on youtube before and he got blown away, the ref should of stopped it after the first knock down, his legs were all over the place.
As a few have said the warning signs were there with knock downs against average opponents like Limond and Gomez, i cant see how he could come back and compete for world titles now, he is great going forward and ferocious but if you cant take a dig then there's not much you can do.

The colombian looks very good though and hits harb by the looks of things with both hands.

Makes you wonder what Warren was upto, Khan has showed a dodgy chin in the last couple of fights, what does he do...throw him in with a knockout specialist

I couldnt believe it i actually thought we had a world champion in the making with Khan.

Just shows you though Warren never done his homework on this kid . Who had heard of him before last night ,cause i hadnt. He hadnt fought any big names either . The lad was still living in poverty in Columbia. An said if he got beat there was know where else for him to go.

Looks like its back to the drawing board now though for Khan Left him self wide open. But in my heart of hearts i do still think one day he will be world champion hes to much of a classy fighter.

Warren must be sick as a pig :laugh:

Khan definately has the power and boxing ability to be a champion but he cnt take a shot. That has been proved at every level now.
The thing that i am shocked about is the carelessness (sp) of Warren, he is usual Mr cautious and doesnt take any gambles with his prize fighters but he did with Khan on his first box office fight. He admitted that he knew little about the fella and that it was a recommendation from Khans trainer.
Similar with the Derry Matthews situation, you cant see what was in it for Khan, a dangerous opponent who has a record that proves he is a KO merchant probably should of been avoided.
He will come back because he is very good, but whether he can push on to the world level remains to be seen due to his inability to take a shot.

It's usually the fighters that come from nothing that grew up in very harsh conditions that you have to look out for. Like this fella: his only option is success or nothing in the ring, whereas Khan was wrapped in wool. Fair play to the Columbian. He wants it more and it showed big time.

Sorry Stu got to disagree with you there , The kids got bags of talent ,classey fighter who i still believe one day will be world champ. ok i know he got knocked out but i believe he will come back better an stronger. the only bad baggage the lad carrires is Warren

If you watch the round it was the first blow to the temple that done him. That had him wobblin, hes still got a lot to learn hes only 21 and sometimes when you watch him he still fight like an ameture. Dont know about this new trainer though from Cuba it was him who thought the fight would be perfect

He will never be world champion!
Never anywhere near good enough to be,also he's one of the worst defensive boxers I have seen.He does'nt seem to know what a guard is.Sadly I feel he has modelled himself on Naseem with his relaxed ways in the ring.The thing is though the prince could take a punch,he cant!

Totally over rated and over hyped!Just because he's one of the best coming out of England it does not mean he's great or good enough to win a world title.That was embarrassing the other night to be honest!Lots of better fighters out there as well!
