the wickets playing to the batsmens favour tho, so it makes sense to play out til tomorrow lunchtime, then use the last 5 sessions to bowl out the aussies

Exactly, and also the bowlers having to bowl twice in a row isnt always a good thing as they can get tired.
Flintoff especially probably wouldnt relish bowling twice in succession.

Good idea imo, try and get about 350 if possible and leave them trying to chase 575 ish.
Give the bowlers a day and a half - best case scenario and hopefuly go one up,.

Thats not such a bad thing, if all the batsmen come in and attack and pich up decent totals quickly then we will have a good score and loads of time to try and bowl the aussies out.

At the moment with 9 wickets left we are 280 ahead, another 200 today would be perfect and give us loads of time to attack them.

Yup we are well and truly screwed. England 6/311 that's a lead of 521.

Even if we got the last wickets for no score, that's a pretty a hefty second innings target.

No chance. for once, I'm praying for rain.

I shouldn't worry about it too much mate. Knowing Strauss, he'll want to get the lead up to about 846 before he declares, so you'll only have to bat for four sessions not six. We had the Windies in this strangle hold twice over there, and didn't win either game. We'll get you 304-9, or 9-304 as you lot inexplicably call it, and it'll be levels you bevels at 0-0.

Massive day coming up. Break the partnership early and we should clean up the tail. However if these two stay in then there could be some nervous times ahead.
