I cannot believe we lost at lords. Brilliant match by the English, went for the win and got it. Fair play (b@stards).

I think the Aussies can hold their head up, good second innings with the bat (bar the openers).

I watched the Wallabies narrowly lose to the all blacks on saturday and have to deal with all the hype of Man U being in town.

:(

In fairness mate I think both the Wallabies and the cricket team can consider themselves a bit unlucky. Joubert in the rugby kept awarding penalties against the Aussies in the scrum entirely for reasons best known to himself, while some of the umpiring in the cricket was poor.

That said, it seems that the best team in cricket always gets lucky. I remember goign there in the 90's (not me personally obviously) with a team which was much inferior and all the players saying we needed all the luck going in order to have a chance. We lost five tosses out of five and didn't get a decision in five tests.

I take this Aussie team though which is obviously not one of their best to fight back strongly. I think Brett Lee could have a big say if they can get him fit. England are very fragile I think if put under pressure.

whole heartly agree about the ref in the rugby. Some of the decisions were inexplicable.

Brett Lee - I am in two minds about him. He has pace, but never had line and length. He cannot build pressure, can't stifle the run rate. Any batsmen not teriffied of his pace will knock him all over the park.

I hope he is not strike bowler if we use him.

BRING BACK BIG GLEN!!!

if Austalia have any sense they will bring back Stuart Clarke and Brett lee, but i hope they dont :D Im still not convinced that England can do it, the middle order is pretty average IMO and i dont rate Stuart Broad very highly, he's decent but i think Harmison, Jones, Hoggard and Sidebottom were/are all better bowlers.

What happened to Hoggard? Thought he was a good bowler.

KP is out of the rest of the series.

He saw a specialist who has told him he requires surgery, ruling him out for 6 weeks from all cricket.

i think with KP out that England will really struggle IMO, apart from Flintoff he's the only genuine world class player in the team and his batting talents will be a huge loss. I hope they bring in Ian Bell, he's awful.

KP... no real loss if you ask me. We got better batters and better bowlers and better fielders... we'll survive, wedm iss freddie or Strauss or even Collingwood more
