agreed, to an extent I can sympathise with her because the cards she was handed. In hindisight she probably played them well but she stepped on a LOT of toes on her way

yep she did. in Parliament, it was her way or the highway. and she wanted control of the judiciary as well by hand-picking the judges. a classic example of how she abuses her powers would be the GCHQ case where Lord Diplock worded it beautifully -

"so outrageous in its defiance of logic or accepted moral standards that no sensible person who had applied his mind to the question to be decided could have arrived at it"

irregardless of whether or not she was someone who brought benefits to the UK, she was one bitch to work with due to her ego and how she expected everyone to be under her total control and whoever disagreed with her sentiments were expected to resign.
