Truly a great job by everyone putting on a great show for the entire world.  This Olympiad has been amazing.  Wonderful stuff to watch and I hope everyone will take a memory from it.  For me, most memorable olympics (Summer) since 84 in LA.  Great job London.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

These last 2 weeks have flown by. Kind of wish I could re wind back to the opening ceremony and re live all those great moments again. Phelps bowing out, that mad Saturday, Bolt, Farah doing the long distance double.

I will definitely start taking a greater interest in athletics and swimming.

The decathalon was pretty freaking epic as well.  Two great athletes at the top with one not having enough at the end.

That said.  What an awesome showing from GB.  You guys on that side of the pond should be immensely proud of your team.  Don't recall such a great showing from you "Redcoats" :p

This closing ceremony has brought back horrendous memories of losing my V-plates, it was absolute gash.

I mean one direction? Seriously? Where's The Stone Roses, Oasis, and the greatest British band ever the Rolling Stones. Oh and where is UB40?

This closing ceremony has been awful, truly awful. It's so cringeworthy it's not even funny.

Liam Gallagher's haircut makes him look like Marge Simpson with side-burns.

Spectacular ending to the greatest two weeks of sport - feel pride that the country put on an amazing event but sad that it has finished.
