I'm surprised. I listened to BBC's coverage of Wimbledon over the last 2 weeks and I always thought the British were all absolutely behind their man Murray. So not a lot of British like Murray then?

Roddick should have won, simple as that. I think 15 should be the maximum for Federer, I much rather have 2008 all over again, when Nadal was dominating all the slams and winning French Open, Wimbledon,Olympics, etc. Is it just me or does Federer have a very cocky face? I always felt Nadal was much humbler and down-to-Earth.

I never understood this. Fedex hasn't go much to be humble about. He is the Jordan or Tiger of tennis.

Good fecking on him, if you ask me.

I didn't much like Schmi (F1), but as driver he was the best since Senna (IMO) and good on him.

Has the standard of tennis ever been this good? I hope Fedex goes on to nail a few more titles, feck the underdog.

I think Murray will be like Harrington in the golf. Once he gets the first major, another couple will follow up quickly.

I think he'll probably win 3 or 4 majors in his career.

anyone reckon it would be a good double to do federer and s williams to win it/ ??? Was thinking of doing it but Im not a huge fan in the tennis and i dont know whether williams is in form or whatever this year.I know she los the wimbledon final.Bth are favourites and federed is good odds for his dominance!

Serena's in-form at the moment and she did in fact win wimbledon  :D

I think she'll take the the title, the draw looks favourable, but Clijsters may have somethibg to say about that.

The men's draw is a trickier one to predict, mainly because Federer is likely to face Nadal or Murray in the final. If not one of those two, perhaps Del Potro and he's playing really well of late too.

What are the odds?

Is it just me or does Murrays serve look a lot better? Anyway a semi against Nadal seems the most likley outcome. Shame Nadal doesn't look like himself but would still be a great match.

I agree on both counts. Murray's serve is much more consistent these days, even on the second serve. Nadal looks to be playing at 60% capacity. Still better than most but not enough to beat Federer, IMO.

Nadals game is all about his agressive style of play and with all these niggling injuries he will never have a long career. Now you can see the injuries all starting to mount up...

I reckon Del Potro will be the next no 3 before long...

I watched it and he looked totally out of sorts.

He looked ok in the first set and had set points and then once he had lost that first set he seemed to appear hampered by an injury.
Thats not an excuse, it definately appeared that way to me.
He was totally out muscled in the last two sets and never looked like coming back.

I am actually disappointed i think with Nadal not at his best this was an opportunity but we also thought that about Wimbledon when Nadal was injured and he fell short there as well.
Lets hope he is not one of those nearly men like most other british players because on the face of it he doesnt appear that way...but does he have the resolve determination and ability to win a slam with the intensity and amount of matches that are involved.

Not so sure me personally.
