And I think someone who has raised a concern should be a little bit more patient than this Ayrton lad has been. He sent me (and the other mods, I guess) a PM around 12:30 yesterday asking me to have a word. I didn't get that PM until later in the afternoon and forwarded it to Supersub for his input before logging off for several hours. Next thing I know, this Ayrton fella's launched a public name and shame campaign against St. Mick and deciding that the rest of us are ignoring him--which he presents as some sort of gross violation of Mod conduct.Read back through that thread you linked for us, mate. He lodged his complaint with us at noon, decided we were all c.unts by evening and had opted to go public just after midnight. Well, I'd like to know what kind of rapid response he was expecting to get on a fecking Saturday in July?
Maybe this Ayrton fella might have taken a breath and recognized that it's just the fecking internet. But, no, he took it all a little too seriously and got the p!ss taken out of him for his trouble...as you do.
And then there's the bigger picture to consider here. Who made the first complaint? Bill the Wind Up Merchant Green. Who stoked the fires over there, making sure that Ayrton and Co. kept frothing at the mouth over this 'grave insult'? Bill once more. Who's no doubt sitting back and laughing at everyone involved in this sorry farce--including his new 'mates' over the other forum? Right again. And who's certainly rubbing his hands together now that aCe' and the like have decided that, after years of silence on this matter, that this is indeed an issue of grave concern that simply must be addressed ASAP? You guessed it: Billy Boy. I might be a 'patronizing c.unt' but I can spot a wind up when I see it.
He lodged his complaint by noon and it took him till the evening to decide you were all c*nts? Fair enough Bob I didn't realise he was a bit slow mate.
Are you calling us cu.nts?
