.. not sure how many of you enjoyed the orginal trilogy .. but I lurved star wars.. any how the new "trilogy" telling the story of Anakin Slkwalker (aka Darth Vadar) has failed to live up to the high standards of the orginal films...

The last installment "Revenge of the Sith " comes out in the middle of May.. and will be the final "emotional" conversion of Anakin in to Darth Vadar... I'm looking forward to it.. but feel the whole story of the force and the dark side has not been as well told as it could have been by Geerge Lucas.. somehow I'll watch the last film out of a sense of duty .. not excitement ..

im a big original starwars fan, and yes ive been disappointed witht he first 2. I think he will come out with a bang on this one, no more cartoony ******, and alot more like it sound be dark and surreal like.

Don't want to spoil it for you guys , but the last installment was originally titled "the revenge of the "syph"
And Anakin's conversion was down to Woof the Wonder Dogs' failure to find and supply sufficient doses of penicilin' to his skywalkin' master .
At the time Woof was quoted as saying "I thought the guy was out of his tree already ,for christs sake ! he was calling himself Skywalker !!! ,I thought the last thing this guy needs is MORE drugs ! "

I never liked Lord of the Rings for all the fuss made over that. I thought they were good, well produced films in themselves but everyone wet themselves over them. I thought he third one was the best, but Goblins, hobbits, hobgoblins, elves, dwarfs and wizards just don't do it for me.

Star Wars though.....good versus evil........light sabres..........any time.

here here Lord of the Rings Sucked ******, Star Wars was made in the late 70's and early 80's and they were produced and created better than LOTR 20 years later.

I remember as a kid in the 70's when Star Wars had come out and we were probably getting towards The Empire Strikes Back, my older brother had a book by George Lucas called "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" and he said at the time that it was set BEFORE Star War Wars, but all part of the same story.

I don't know if it was the blueprint or not for one of these new "first three" that have come along in recent years or not but I presume it must've been in one shape or form.

There's no particular point to this post, I'm just remembering out loud
