Stabbing - Just outside my school

I was standing outside my school today and I saw two policemen (who are usually outside the gate) sprinting towards the other gate. I went to see what was going on. Some teachers were ushering us away, so I went back to meet up with my friend.

We walked back in the direction of the incident and we met my little brother. Then we saw Kiyan (sp?) on the floor and there was blood there. We heard that he was stabbed in the stomach. The person who did it had ran away.

I know him a bit and he seems like a nice guy. I don't know whether he was fighting or not, but he usually talks or laughs his way out of trouble. I just think it's really sad that just over an hour ago, I was playing football with him.

The police came. An ambulance car, an ambulance and 5 police cars came. They taped off the area and were telling everyone to get away from the crime scene. I was utterly shocked.

I just hope he recovers alright.

What is this world coming to?

Where do you live?  Where about did this happen?  Absolutely shocking news.  Your mate must be a young lad pre-16 years old.  What's going on in schools where kids need to worry about knives?

You always get a couple of nutters in schools, even in my days. Never this bad though.

North London mate. Just outside the school. It used to be called the Edgware School, but we're moving into a new school in September. It's called the London Academy. He's in year 10 or 11 (I think 10) so he's 15 or 16.

Boy, 15, dies in street stabbing
A 15-year-old has been stabbed to death in north-west London.
The boy was found suffering stab wounds by a police sergeant on patrol in Kings Drive, Edgware, on Thursday afternoon.

Ambulance crews took the boy to a north London hospital but he was pronounced dead two hours later. Police have launched a murder inquiry.

An area around Stamford Court, an 11-storey block of flats, in Edgware was cordoned off. Police said no arrests have been made so far.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said the boy was found at 1535 BST by a sergeant from the local Safer Neighbourhood team.

The scene is close to a city academy called the London Academy in Green Lane.

Shame to hear things like this, but the world has gone mental. Here in the states, the schools seem to be like prisons. It's not knives that you have to be worried about, more like guns.

Problems seem to occur a lot in school if there are gangs around, ridicilious really.

WTF is up with kids? I know it used to happen back in the day as well, but now a days it seems every other kid carries a knife. When I was a kid all I cared about was getting to the park when the bell went, couldn’t wait to start kicking a ball around after a day at school, it seems now its more popular to hang outside of schools and tube station threatening people with a knife.

Its such a shame that such a young life has been taken away before it has been lived.
