Wooly , I didn't download it personally , a mate downloads movies all the the time , I got it from him .

JBG, to be fair I quite enjoyed it BUT given all the hype ,if I'd dragged me ar'se off the couch an paid £7-8 quid to see it (central london) I would be spittin' blood . Entertaining but not that special (imo)

just got back form watching it (we're always a good month behind over here) and though entertained was a little disappointed. i was expecting more given the hype.

the cinematic style is excellent - its about the only comic film that really stays faithful to the comic. it takes the stylised, stylish violence to a new level without really showing us anything totally new. and the three main characters, Marv, Hartington and Dwight, were far too similar too give the film any depth or dynamic. just loads of dry one liners, self analysis and being hard as f*ck and indestructible.

still, i'll probably get it on dvd for occasional eye candy purposes.

oh yeah, and my top flange vote goes to lucille too.

I've never read the comic, but fuck me was I impressed with this film??

I've just lent it to two of the fellas in my office this week and they both loved it.  Best film I've seen in ages.
