The footy season can't come quick enough.Saturday shopping is a pain in the neck and wallet.
Today "Let's all go to Wickes" was the cry."I want some new doors",was the reason given for such an outburst on,what for 9 months of the year,is a match-day.So off we all trudge behind the wife,who's striding towards the shops like she means business.
No luck! heeheeheehee.Our house is an old house,with big internal door measurements."We haven't anything in stock to suit madam".
"Can we go to McDonalds" was the cry!
"NO!"
Last stop the Mersey Music Centre for a piano book,only costs £4.95,then home for a bacon butty.

Jeeesus,I get the plastic out and I've just been stung for £788.95.The piano arrives next week..I pay £40 to the guy that delivers the piano and I'll have to get doors another day.
"Before the season starts" is the cry.

It's going to be a long 5 weeks.

I came home from an afternoon shopping last Saturday and instinctively checked the teletxt for football scores...

At least when the pre-season games start we'll have something to enjoy.
