Franks mother has passed away.

RIP Pat.

LIVERPOOL SEND CONDOLENCES TO LAMPARD
Liverpoolfc.tv 24 April 2008
Liverpool Football Club sends its condolences to Frank Lampard after the death of his mother Pat.
The Chelsea star missed Premier League games against Wigan and Everton to be at his mother's bedside. But, when her condition improved, he returned for Tuesday night's Champions League semi-final first leg 1-1 draw at Anfield.

He returned to be at her bedside after the match but her health suddenly worsened and she passed away after a battle with pneumonia.

This is a bit different Daws she only had a cold it turned to pneumonia and has died, she was a young healthy woman.

To be fair, Daws, I hardly think there's going to be multiple threads along this line.  It's in general chat, it's not doing any harm and no one's forcing you to read it.  :)

i'm sure that losing your mother is the one of the toughest things that can happen during your life, so my sympathies are with frank lampard (am i really saying that?) and the rest of his family. the hard hearted ba.stard within me though is thinking, ooh, maybe this will put him off his game on wednesday, that can't be bad. the nice person struggles to gain dominace again and thinks, i hope there are no crass coming from our lot that taunt him about it during the game.
