Sorry to hear the sad news Kazza, best wishes to you and your family.

RIP Jimmy  You'll never walk alone
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

So sorry to hear that Karen - lost my dad some years back, so I know what you must be going through.

RIP Jimmy. :(

All the best, YNWA

PS: Nice one, whoever attached YNWA (the song) to this thread. Gets me every time when I hear it while reading something like this.

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I would just to thank everyone who left messages and PM's of support at this hard time for my family and I. My mum has read the thread and the PM's and thanks you from the bottom of her heart and wants to let you know that its has helped her, my brother Peter and myself, through this difficult time. She thinks its great that there are people out there, who care about whats going on in the world and theyre not wrapped in themselves.
The cremation went well. There was not a dry eye in the place when he was carried in to "You'll never walk alone". Its what he would have wanted (although hes probably calling us all silly buggers for being so sad, lol)
I dont think its really sunk in with me yet. Mum is slowly coming to terms with everything, but I keep expecting him to ring me and give off about not coming up to see him. but I suppose it will at sometime.
Next week, we are having a wee remeberance service for him, as he was creamted, we have bought a tree for him, that will be planted in the grave yard and his ashes buried under it. It will be nice to have somewhere to go and remember him.

Anyway, i would like to thank you all again. Its nice to know that people are thinkingof us.
You are all stars!!!

Jean, Peter and Karen

Ps whoever put the music to the thread, thank you! It means a lot. x
