there are a lot of excellent (and i mean excellent) posters who are very knowledgable about football on this site. mentions go out to leon, stu the red, john craig, ciggy, bigmick, ace ventura etc. however the majority are getting pi$4ed off by the lack of genuine good footie topics that people are starting. people need to read the forum rules before they post. at the moment we have about four "who should we sign for next season" threads for example.

ok, serious note. people like to see a topic they have started getting replies, its bizarre but true. just human nature. the mods are doing what they can but the people (yes, us) need to take control a bit more and sort it out. maybe there need to be more sections but i dunno... i still like it here anyways, beats working

And StMike's got a point. This being a Liverpool forum, shouldn't have so much space devoted to Wayne Rooney. Half of the people here probably don't know that Rumour mill exists though.

There is a mixture of all sorts of people that post on here:

1) Some are like Robbie Savage - aggresive given the slightest provacation (or not).
2) Some are just inexperienced kids and don't know any better - like Joe Cole when he first played for the Hammers.  Hopefully, with the right management they'll improve, like Cole did.
3) Some can read the game as well as Jan Molby did when he played or Alan Hansen does now in the studio.
4) Others are steady 'Finnan-like' performers, who post occasionally and round out forum opinion.
5) Still others only turn up from time-to-time, like Michael Owen used to.
6) Then there are the Djimi Traore's...

Everyone has their place, as long as they respect that everyone else has their place too.  I can understand why some of the more thoughtful posters get fed up with some of the utter garbage that's on here, but there's always the Restricted Forum which could be used more.
