I was in the city centre in prague about 5 years ago and remember the pints were similar prices to dublin. as the average beer here is about 5 euro (4.50 if lucky) I wouldn't expect cheap beer unless you venture out away from the tourist spots.

i regret to inform you that the beer here is much more expensive than some people were making out. last night i had 2 half litres of staropramen and it cost me nearly £1.60
