Stu will not be allowed back on here ,of that i'm sure . Like most have said ,he's been banned 6 times now and allowed back . I pretty much get on with everyone on here and try not to get involved in spats between posters. Ciggy you don't need to leave mate ,cos stu won't be back on here.

Keep posting lynds and stay as passionate as ever , to many good posters are not posting anymore and we need to get the better posters to stay. This brings me to bigmick , i think like most in here he's a top mod and should stay , but i also think he's not posting as much good footy posts as he did. If being a mod is not his thing ,then let it be and get back to posting long boring posts on ROTATION mick  ,your a valued member and cracking poster ,so if you feel that the mods job is doing your noggin in mate , don't do it. I wouldn't do it for a big clock.

Leon and woof and the flangemiester for mods . That'll sort the turks and the likes out.

I think he'd liven the place up a bit. Who knows, if he behaves himself for a bit, there might be some new mods around next time he deserves a card. Like I say, I'd have him back but then again I know it'd p!ss many people off, such dilemma's ultimately make the job impossible. Any thoughts?

stu the red post's have been very informative and made some very interesting reading, but he is to abusive to many other members on this forum he knows the rules and how far to stretch the very same rules, 6 times banned is enough for any forum i know from a personal point he as been banned on other forums and not allowed back so why should he be allowed back here, if you want to attract new members stu the red is not a good example to look up too i think his abusive posts out way is more informative posts.

as for ciggy not posting on here if stu comes back i think a few more members might do the same, i have myself had abusive pm's from stu the red but ignored them, stu if you read this not every body is the same we are all different and have different views but that does not give you the right to abuse other posters on this forum.

ciggy i am with you on this stu as got to personal with abusing your son good riddance i say,1 thing i would like to know is some body mentioned that he was kicked out of the police force is this true and what for i am not trying to dig up dirt  but it as been nagging away at me wondering why ?.....

Just as an add on, I'm not resigning in a huff or anything I just think I've done my time. Cigs I've got all the time in the world for, and I fully respect her stance visa vis Stu. He's been out of order with her on more than one occasion and I've told of my opinion publicly and by PM. It's disappointing that under the circumstances Stu can't find the will to at least wipe the slate clean by means of an apology, but there you go.

I can't think of a better way of demonstrating the impossibility on occasions of doing the mods job. We have two posters at loggerheads, both of whom I've probably spent the best part of the last three years of my life conversing with over the internet (don't know whether that makes me a sad old git or them, probably me on reflection) and I like them both. Now it is my suspicion, that if they were to meet by chance in the Dog and Duck in Liverpool city centre (I'm demonstrating my OOTerness here but never mind) they would probably get on quite well. They would come to the conclusion that despite what they previously thought, they actually had quite a lot in common. Probably a binding emotion for both of them would be the conclusion that the moderator who was involved in their spat, was by and large a kunt.

Now far be it for me to argue with either of them on that score, but I think it's time for me to go back to what I reckon I know a little bit about, namely football. I've been out tonight, NZ time and had a few beers and maybe it's loosened me up a tad. It's time, and FWIW Leon would make an excellent replacement in my view. No rotation here, simply a more able custodian taking over.

Get a grip Mick , you're possibly the most respected mod on here , (well currently at least    ) . Take a few days off , like all the other mods do, hopefully for the benefit of the forum you'll then continue to moderate .

Christ sake we've lost some good posters over the years purely because of the flame wars that are continually started by serial abusers. I'd hate to think that the forum lost it's most popular,self effacing, intelligent and humorous mod due to the activities of such people.

Honestly Mick , never mind the issue of Stu , which may or may not have brought you to your current state of angst . This forum would be a far far far poorer place without your contribution and moderation.

I'll second that. I would be hugely surprised if there was anyone who had a grievance with Mick, you get your point across without swearing, and with humour. I personally believe the forum would be worse off without your modship. IMHO we need another mod, whose normal logging on time is different to the rest, and that would allieviate most of the issues.

I don't think you needed to ballot opinion on whether you want to bring someone back, just as theres' no need to ask us when you issue a card. The Mods have been entrusted to moderate, and therefore should, and any referendum can be held between them.
