Now I'm home I just watched the Lotus Eaters, fecking brilliant. Underneath the live version (which is fantastic) somebody put up in a comment that they wish they could get in a time warp and go back and live the 80's all over again, particularly knowing what we know now. Now ain't that the fecking truth, with you there mate. Also, on Bob's kindly put up links to my A-Ha girly pick outs, there's some interesting stuff. You get a link to a couple of "live" versions of Take on me where the fella Harket just kind of belts it out as it is the record. Pretty freaky voice I must say, what a talent. I once bumped into him literally in central London and I must say he was probably the prettiest man I've ever seen. Almost like a girl in a blokes body.

Here's a couple of really nice songs, but don't know to do the link up thing. If somebody can do it for me, I promise they are well worth the effort.

Thanks in advance if one of you clever computer blokes can do it for us. The last song at the start has some lyrics which apply to us at the moment at the start.

thats a classic mick, where have all the good song writers gone?

however my 70's favourite is:

The Real Thing

i just love this tune, reminds me of family parties in the 70's, the biggest selling black band in the uk, and from liverpool   :D  and the singer won crufts a few years back   :D
